Contest Rules - Empowering Humans

1. Eligibility:

  • The contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • Participants must be active members of Empowering Humans to be eligible for the contest.
  • Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Empowering Humans, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win.

2. Contest Period:

  • The contest runs monthly, beginning at midnight MST on the first day of each month and ending at 11:59 PM MST on the last day. All entries must be received during the contest to be eligible for that month’s drawing.

3. How to Enter:

  • To enter the contest, participants must complete the designated actions as specified on the contest entry page. These actions may include, but are not limited to, attending a presentation, completing a survey, or referring new members.
  • Participants who choose to join Empowering Humans with Viago will receive two additional entries for the trip drawing for that month.
  • Only one entry per person per month is allowed unless additional entries are earned as described above. Multiple entries from the same person, beyond the allowed number, will be disqualified.

4. Prizes:

  • Grand Prize: One (1) free trip to a destination of the winner's choice, as selected from a list of pre-approved destinations provided by Empowering Humans. The prize is valued at up to $999.
  • The prize includes accommodation and hotel transportation and may include certain activities or meals, as specified by Empowering Humans.
  • Airfare and Other Expenses: The prize does not include airfare, travel insurance, passport fees, personal expenses, or any other incidental costs outside of the trip voucher. The winner is solely responsible for arranging and paying for all other aspects of the trip, including but not limited to airfare, travel insurance, passport and visa fees, and any additional expenses incurred during the trip.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
  • The trip voucher must be booked and used within one year of the date of issuance. Failure to use the voucher within this time frame will result in forfeiture of the prize with no compensation.
  • Empowering Humans will award one trip per month.

5. Winner Selection:

  • The winner will be selected through a digital random drawing system conducted by Empowering Humans. The drawing will take place within 5 business days following the end of each monthly contest period.
  • Empowering Humans’ decisions in all matters relating to the drawing and winner selection are final and binding.

6. Notification:

  • The potential winner will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of entry within 5 business days of the drawing.
  • The potential winner must respond within 5 business days of the notification to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within this time frame, an alternate winner may be selected, and the original winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.

7. Publicity:

  • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. General Conditions:

  • Empowering Humans reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the contest, or any part of it, at any time, for any reason, including if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest, as determined by Empowering Humans in its sole discretion.
  • Empowering Humans reserves the right to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

9. Release and Limitation of Liability:

  • By participating in the contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Empowering Humans and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize, including but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries; (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize, including travel-related activities; and (g) any condition caused by events beyond Empowering Humans’ control that may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted.
  • Empowering Humans is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from the winner’s participation in the trip or any travel-related activities. The winner is responsible for obtaining and paying for their own travel insurance, airfare, passport, visa, and any other necessary documentation or expenses.

10. Disputes:

  • Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Yellowstone County, Montana. Participants agree that any such arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, collective, or consolidated action.
  • All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these official rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Empowering Humans in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Montana, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

11. Privacy:

  • Any personal information collected from entrants in connection with the contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and in accordance with the Empowering Humans Privacy Policy.

12. Void Where Prohibited:

  • The contest is void where prohibited by law.
